Don't call it a comeback . . . .
No, this isn't a midterm elections post. This is a news bulletin to FFB readers that one of our regular bloggers TenaciousMcD is now the proud father of a baby girl. Baby and mom are doing well, I hear. More news to come, I hope! But in the meantime, big big congratulations to the McD family!!

A very tenacious Emilie Lang was born yesterday around 5 PM Central (four days late). She was 8 lb 1 oz., looks an unfortunate amount like her papa, and has a full head of wavy golden brown hair. Lang and Mama McD are both doing great, and I'm feeling exceptionally paternal at the moment.
Good thing we early voted last week.
Thanks for the additional news, Tenacious McD. Very, very happy indeed! Looking forward to pictures soon (I hope).
Wow, now there's a little female version of Tenacious McD. Congratulations to all of the McDs! I second Frances's comment--looking forward to pictures soon.
