Blogging from Center Field
No, not a political reference. Just saw that Tigers centerfielder Curtis Granderson has his own blog over at ESPN.
Btw, got to listen to about half the Tigers game from KC yesterday. (I love satellite radio.) Granderson hit a solo home run, his second of the season. When Sean Casey bats seventh in your line-up, and you can bring in Joel Zumaya to pitch the seventh and eighth innings, that's a pretty good team. The bullpen has been a little shaky so far (I'm looking at you, Grilli), but it's still early . . . .
One final baseball note: TMcD and yours truly have bleacher tickets for next Saturday's game at Wrigley Field for the Cubs-Reds. I'm just hoping that I'm not forced to throw back a Ken Griffey Jr. home run ball by drunk and angry Cubs fans.

Hey 3, you takin' your glove or are you gonna catch that Griffey ball old school?
I'm not packing my glove. I'm counting on a ricochet off the guy trying to catch the ball and keep a firm grip on his jumbo nachos at the same time. All's fair, as they say.
Tigers won today 3-2 and have that same record now. It looks like it was a solid game. The Indians, on the other hand, were snowed out again -- there's a foot and a half of snow in Cleveland and more lake-effect snow is expected tonight....It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... oops. That's the wrong Christian holiday.
I'm going to have to make a game at the Jake this season . . . once C-Town defrosts, maybe. Say, July.
I'll be in A-squared most of the time up until the end of July, at which point we'll move our stuff back to Cleveland. But then we take off for Italy and should be there until January. If you want to catch a Tigers game in May, second half of June or July I'm game for that too.
sorry if this is common knowledge, but Granderson's blog is nowhere near as awesome as Gilbert Arenas's blog:
