Pat Buchanan described the Warner speech as "technocratic . . . written by a computer." A post-partisan computer!
The speech wasn't awful, it was OK. It just lacked fire in the belly. And I hate that post-partisan crap, but maybe others we need don't. I've been running out of patience with the technocrat style of late. Bredesen fatigue.
So far Bob Casey has the line of the convention" "He's not a maverick, he's a sidekick!"
